Student Artists

Supporting student artists and their teachers is a huge part of our mission.

Each year we provide $3,000 in grants to Bainbridge Island School District teachers for programming and art supplies.

We award three annual scholarships to talented high school seniors who plan to study art in college.

Every May, you’ll find the gallery stuffed to the gills with student art. Speaking of which…

Participating this year are Bainbridge High School, Blakely Elementary, Carden Country School, Eagle Harbor High School, Island School, Madrona School, Montessori Country School/Voyager Montessori, Odyssey Multiage Program, Ordway Elementary, and Wilkes Elementary.

Family Art Demo with Katie Bonnano

In conjunction with this year’s Elementary School Show, Blakely art teacher Katie Bonnano will lead a FREE family art activity at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 7.

If you know Katie, you know this hour-long activity will involve creativity and big fun for parents and kids. Bring the family!
