Bainbridge’s First Friday party is tonight. BAC has beautiful new work by Peggy Vanbianchi, a group show of art about hats, and wonderful work by Island elementary school kids. Pam BergLundh paints many of the hats she wears as a working mom – here is “Losing It.”

BAC has $4000 in scholarships available for students who plan to study art in college. Applications are due at the gallery by 6 p.m. on Friday, April 27. More info here: http://www.bacart.org/education.html.
Bainbridge Arts and Crafts announces a new $1000 Sissel Feroy Scholarship for graduating high school seniors. Ms. Feroy retired last year after teaching art in the Bainbridge Island School District for thirty-seven years. It is BAC’s honor to award this scholarship in her name.
BAC also awards the $2000 Pauli Family Scholarship and the $1000 Rosalyn Gale Powell Scholarship. Scholarships are awarded to students who plan to continue to study art. Recipients are selected by professional artists from the community. All scholarship applications must be received by BAC by 6 p.m., Friday, April 27.
